Empowerment

The fight for women empowerment is very important for a just, balanced, happy and peaceful society. Empowering women helps fast tract economic growth. FIYECAD supports and fights for women empowerment in all domains and aspects of life. We understand that despite years of investment in advocating for women empowerment, there is still a great deal of conflict and challenges in households between men and women. From our research findings, women empowerment cannot be achieved through the development of women in isolation of men. Instead, there should be a balance of empowerment between the men and the women.

Health Awareness

Health awareness and wellness campaigns on COVID19, HIV/Aids, TB, Cancer, sexually transmitted diseases need special attention in our community today. As part of our campaigns, we sensitize the general community on how to live health lifestyles. By healthy life-styles we mean the kind of food you eat, what you ought not to eat, at what time and what quantities you should eat? For a youth to be productive implies being in good health. We carry out public health awareness and wellness campaigns six times a year. However, counseling on health issues is on daily basis as people come to the office to consult. In South Africa we collaborate with different local and international organisations to achieve this objective. Our HIV/AIDS specific program focuses on the testing of foreign nationals whose beliefs systems are still encourages stigmatization.

Business Growth Workshops

Business and entrepreneurship are some of our main areas of concentration. The freedom in South Africa is not complete without the achievement of economic and financial freedoms. Financial freedom is attainable through business and creativity. We train youths on how to create businesses of their own and also how to manage and sustain them. Through Business sustainability and International Youth small business entrepreneurial engagement workshops, FIYECAD brings together some foreign small business entrepreneurs in South Africa to share their experiences with South African youths. We organize these workshops quarterly to teach youth on how to identify their business skills and grow them into sustainable businesses.

FIYECAD as a Non-Profit Organization is concerned about the wellbeing of contemporary African Youths’ issues in Africa needing pressing solutions through action.
